The Sacré-Cœur is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and located at the summit of the butte Montmartre. Designed by Paul Abadie and constructed between 1875 and 1914, this instantly recognisable landmark is the second-most visited monument in Paris after Notre-Dame.
